Hello Data Manager Community,
We have some exciting news! Starting from late September 2024, we are kicking off our Open Beta program for Data Manager. This will give you the opportunity to set up your instances, onboard, and get hands on with Data Manager. And it will give us the opportunity to work closely with you, and listen to any feedback and suggestions.
We will gradually roll out Data Manager to all sites, starting with the instance URLs per the submissions in our EAP and GA interest form (if you’re part of this community group, you should have already filled this in). Partner sites specifically will be in our first cohorts, before we move on to customer instances from mid-October.

How do I get access?
There’s no further action needed. Data Manager Open Beta will be available to all Premium + Enterprise subscribers in Jira Service Management, Cloud. It will be an opt-in feature of Assets that can be toggled on through Assets' General Configuration Screen.

Will more information be available over the coming weeks?
Absolutely, we’re working with our internal Go-to-market teams to put together an extensive set of documentation, e-learning modules, and onboarding material to help set you up for a smooth journey. This will be shared through Atlassian’s website, and community. Please stay tuned!
Can I give feedback during the Open Beta to help shape the future of Data Manager?
We’d love to hear as much feedback as possible! Being a brand new feature of Assets, we have an exciting journey ahead of us to take Data Manager to the next level. We’ll be making regular callouts for interviews, and feedback surveys via this community group. Please keep an eye out for any asks to participate from our product team.
How can I get support during the Open Beta?
Being an Open Beta candidate, some features may not work as intended. We will be following the normal Atlassian support processes with known bugs and feature requests documented in jira.atlassian.com. Additional support can be requested via https://support.atlassian.com/.
