Since its launch a year ago, Atlassian Access has improved thanks to your feedback. Recent improvements include user provisioning, audit logging, and API token management, and today we're announcing more exciting new changes.
Password policy management is now free
All Atlassian cloud customers are now able to set password policies for Atlassian cloud sites from the organization portal without an Atlassian Access subscription. Read our documentation for more information about password policy management.
This change will not otherwise affect Atlassian Access. Security and user management controls such as SAML SSO, user provisioning, and an organization audit log will continue to be offered with an Atlassian Access subscription.
Atlassian Access support changes
Beginning November 5th 2019, Atlassian Access support will only cover issues directly related to Atlassian Access capabilities for all new Access customers. All existing and evaluating customers will continue to have access to elevated levels of support across Atlassian cloud products for 1 year. This change will come into effect for existing customers on November 5th, 2020.
In other words, when this change comes into effect in November for new Access customers support coverage for other Atlassian cloud products will correspond with the specific cloud subscription plan purchased. For example, if you have Atlassian Access, Jira Software Premium, and Confluence Standard, you will receive Access Support for Atlassian Access, Premium Support for Jira Software Premium, and Standard Support for Confluence Standard.
