Scheduled share for Confluence Cloud

Confluence notifications only make sense if they contain relevant information for the recipient and if delivered at the right or expected time. There are all kinds of reminders and digest emails in Confluence, but the best is when you can schedule sharing pages with the right people.

Automatic notifications in Better Content Archiving allow you to schedule sharing Confluence pages via notification emails. Among other content automations, you can:

  • schedule the share time and frequency
  • use CQL to specify what pages to share (any page or blog)
  • select an email template to use
  • set who to share the pages with

Share a Confluence page at a specific future time

Automatic, scheduled notification emails are organized into schemes in Better Content Archiving. You can set a schedule for each notification email and apply the scheme to one or more spaces.

Steps to schedule Confluence page sharing:

  1. Create a new notification scheme with a descriptive name.
  2. Add a new notification email.
  3. Set the schedule of the notification email.
  4. Specify the page or pages you want to share.
  5. Select the email template to use.
  6. Choose who you want to share the Confluence page with.
  7. Done! Your page will be shared via email with your teammates!
