How to display Jira Time Spent for my issues?

When we are talking about time management and Jira time reporting, one of the most valuable aspects is tracking the Jira time spent on each task for a team member. In this article, we'll explore how to list the Jira time spent only on your issues.

Jira offers lots of features, but when it comes to viewing the Jira time spent on specific issues assigned to you, things can get complex. The native Jira interface provides basic time tracking, but it might not offer the level of convenience that many users require. This is where Time in Status add-on comes in handy.

How to get time spent for your issues?

1. Choose the Assignee time report.

Then choose the Assignee time report from the drop-down list and select yourself (or the team member you need to monitor) in the Filter section. This section is where the magic happens.

2. Select Date Ranges and necessary Calendar to display time in status data.
To get more precise Jira time in status data, you should choose the Issue range and Time range criterias, and select the appropriate Calendar from the drop-down list (or create your own according to your schedule).

3. Monitor the Jira Time Spent in Status

Once you've applied your filters, the add-on will display a list of the Jira Time Spent field for yourself (or team member). You can easily see the duration each task has spent in statuses. All time in status reports are you can display by three types: Pie, Bar and Area Charts.

4. Export time in status report
Time in Status also allows you to export the time in status jira data for further analysis. This feature is helpful if you need to get more insights regarding the generated report or want to share it with your colleagues. JSON Data Feed link functionality will help you to integrate the Jira time report with Qlik, Power BI, etc.

Hi @Valeriia_Havrylenko_SaaSJet ,

Can this report be generated per issue (not per time period) - so we can see which issues took the longest time, and which were resolved quickly?

Thanks
