When time-traveling Marty McFly got stranded in 1955, he and Doc ONLY JUST succeeded in sending him back to 1985.
It was all in the nick of, haha, time.
BUT let’s just jump into an alternate timeline for a moment (you know, like Back to the Future II but without Rich Biff). And imagine that Atlassian and Jira existed in 1985.
Obviously, Doc and Marty would use a Jira dashboard to plan and execute Marty’s return to the future.
And even more obviously, they’d use Custom Charts for Jira to make sure all their time-travelling tasks are on track.
If they had, maybe Marty wouldn’t have been so disorganized getting his parents to fall in love again, and so late getting to Doc.
And maybe Doc would’ve accounted for all eventualities and not almost plummeted off a building trying to fix a broken wire.
In the end, a good deal of luck was responsible for getting Marty back to the future.
Luck? With Jira dashboards and Custom Charts, we don’t need… luck. We’d have full visibility of our tasks, our blockers, our project health, our workload, and more. See for yourself, kids…
As you can see, Doc and Marty were trying to save time (literally) and Custom Charts could’ve helped them do that.
The lesson for us all? Don’t time-travel without it.
🍁📊 Happy Apptoberfest, time travelers.
