how to clear/reset the custom field value to Null using script runner.

I was using the behaviors  to execute the script. Initially a value is selected in custom filed and when i am trying to select another value the fields are not hiding previous filled values. I appreciate your help.

Please find the below example:

Set Request Type = x
fill out some of the fields
Change Request Type to a different value (like Y)                                                                                                      The form isn't hiding any of the fields that are associated to x.
