Zephyr Scale or Xray Test Management?

Hi,

I have done evaluation on Zephyr Scale and Xray , we need to get a licensed version for my company from either of the 2.

I have done evaluation from a manual/functional testing perspective and feels  both are good.

I am new to automation. In future, I would do automation using Selenium and would like the test results to come back to the test management tool.

What do you suggest? Should I go with Xray or Zephyr Scale?

@neha jagwani Comparing between these two, I think Xray is ok for automation. But regarding your case, I suggest you look into this app AgileTest. It is great for manual testing, ad-hoc, etc.

Our team got updated by their team is that they're coming out with test automation in early September 2024. We got a demo from them and their test automation feature is great with Selenium and other tools as well. Besides, it's currently free to use and their upcoming pricing plan is relatively much more affordable to those apps mentioned above.

Our team been using agiletest for months changing from xray. I find its interface is much more friendly and direct compared to xray or zephyr

Actually, am very confused now. Because there are so many test management tools to explore. 

I have spent good amount of time in evaluating Zephyr Scale, Squad and Xray.

So, would be great if you can suggest me 1 from these 3 from implementing automation perspective in future as well.

Hi @neha jagwani , I am writing this from my own personal experience, X-ray is way better the Zephyr. In our instance we had both the plugin but now we are discontinuing with Zephyr and migrating all the test and related info to x-ray. Thanks

May I check xray is better for the test management tasks that we need to perform from a functional testing perspective? or xary is also better in terms of integrating with various automation tools preferable Selenium?

I am looking for something which will be easy to integrate with Selenium as well.

In future, I want Selenium to be able to send the test results back to the test management tool. So, is xray easier to integrate with Selenium or Zephyr Scale/Squad?
