Our current Testing process is :
- Create a Test Case in Xray and put it in Test Repository.
- link the Test Case with User Stories it is created against.
- Create Test Execution and put expected Test cases in it. Link Test Execution with the Project Epic (Epic is created to track same project multiple releases). When Execution is complete we update Test Execution status to 'Done' as well. This way PM update Epics status to 'Done' when all Stories, Task, Improvement and Test Execution is complete.
- This is working well with Epic as this way we can quickly go through number of Task and Test Execution completed.
However, at present, as partial fixes are done so PM review Stories and not Test Execution. Stories as got Test linked to them shows Test as 'To Do' or 'Testing' status but in reality that Test is already Passed in Test Execution.
Is there any way we can have Test linked with User Stories but show correct status.
Note : We don't want to close Test (case) as they are reused in next cycle.
