Tricentis authorization is not working on JIRA

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I have added tricentis test management plugin to my Jira cloud instance and on accessing it, allow access is prompted and clicking on allow access it opens in a new window asking for permission and when i click on allow it throws an error.
