Hello everyone,
I am researching different CRM Softwares that could help us manage our customer base that we generate through sales of our apps on Atlassian Marketplace.
Could anyone share what CRM softwares your company is using as app vendors to manage their communication and campaigns better?
Would love to hear about your experience so we can make the best informed decision.
Thank you in advance!
Elena
Hi Elena,
I think that there are a few apps in Atlassian that could do your use case to an extent. For example, Atlas CRM, could - through imports and exports, allow you such a functionality. Similarly, CRM for Jira could also allow for something like this. To expand a little, I believe the workflow would be something like creating/importing clients in those tools and having them go through the pipelines (like you would in a traditional CRM). Atlas CRM in that sense might be better since it has some level of automation with Automation for Jira and some level of integration with JSM.
In other words, it could provide for part of the solution. This is where I'll enter my pitch: as a disclosure, I am the co-founder for Sales CRM, an automation-powered CRM in Jira. With Sales CRM :
You could also import/export clients that you currently have on the Atlassian Marketplace to a Sales CRM Pipeline via a .csv. In the same idea, you could also capture new clients from tickets that you receive from your tickets (JSM integration), and in addition, leverage Sales CRM integration to make it easier for your team to manage these clients.
In other words, you could do a simple workflow where Clients are imported to a Pipeline in Sales CRM --Say a section of your funnel called "Evaluation". This could trigger an automation where they automatically get added to Mailchimp as an audience, to which they could fuel your email campaigns.
And, if they convert to a paying customer, you could move them (manually at this time) to another section of your funnel named "paying customer", which could trigger a notification on Slack (another integration we have) to your CSM team to follow-up with that client and ensure the client is onboarded properly.
With our newly released Google integration, your team could add tasks and reminders to these clients to ensure that they are being handled/looked at and are not just being lost in your database. Sadly, the solution is currently not perfect for your use case - you currently won't be able to dynamically/automatically add new evaluations/customers to a Sales CRM pipeline.
The way we are trying to address this is through the creation of Zapier integrations where you will be able to use Webhooks to automatically add new clients and trials to Sales CRM. We also believe Zapier could help connect Sales CRM to other external tools you might use (Hubspot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, other marketing tools, etc.) to provide a more holistic view.
Zapier is currently on our Roadmap for this quarter so we're quite enthusiastic about the idea
Best regards
Robert
I’ve had some good experiences with all-in-one field service management software. We use FieldBoss, and while it’s geared towards field services, it integrates well with a variety of platforms and keeps everything streamlined. I really like how it helps us manage customer interactions, appointments, and follow-ups in one place without the need for multiple tools. It might not be a perfect fit for every use case, but if you’re looking for something that manages both customer relations and service tasks, it’s worth checking out: https://www.fieldboss.com/. I’ve been exploring CRM options for managing customer communication.
