When utilizing the Karma Pro plug-in, there does not seem to be a way to add macro for table of contents. Anyone else been able to find a workaround to this? Really would be nice to be able to have this feature embedded into the Karma Pro plan..

Hey Marissa,

thanks for reaching out! There’s currently no way to get an auto-generated table of contents in Karma. We could offer this feature, however, it would not be able to automatically link to the specific sections, which I believe is what most customers are looking for. Unfortunately, there’s a lack of an API from Atlassian’s side for this use case.

There’s one workaround you can do though: You can split your page into multiple macros, one section each, and put anchors between each section. You can then link to these anchors from the top of your page. Here’s an example:

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions! We’re always happy to help.

Best regards,

Jan
