After successfully integrating testRail with Jira. we're able to see the test case ID on each tickets under "TestRail: Cases"
However, this TestRail:Cases field is not appearing under custom filters on Jira
Is it possible to create a custom field for existing "TestRail:cases" field ?
Hello @Junaid Shah
My team is also in need of this functionality. I'm wondering if you've come up with a solution or found one and if you can share it here as well?
Thank you
@Junaid Shah Thast is the way that integration was made; you might use a custom field on jira and automation to perform some action between the info you can get and some custom field.

Hi @Nicolas Grossi ,
Thank you for the quick response
Here let me put my question in detail :
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- After downloading add-on for "TestRail management for Jira" plugin. TestRail: Cases & TestRail: Runs field has appeared under Details section on the ticket which is integrated with TestRail tool and fetching all the test cases IDs ( working as expected )
This integrated field is not appearing under "Active Custom Field" on JIra. Its not showing under Field Configuration as well.
I tried adding new custom field with the same name, (That does not look like a right way to handle this scenario plus then its not fetching the IDs from testRail).
Can you elaborate if its possible to use this field under filters ?
