How to create hyperlink in Jira Structure

Hi,

I have added custom column (text) to Jira Structure & i want to show this as hyperlink in structure.

ex. I want to show hyperlink to www.google.co.in, but this is nowhere available on my Jira issues. So i created notes column & put as www.google.co.in & now i want to show this as hyperlink may with another formula column referencing to this notes column.

Hello @Guruprasad Pasare 

When it comes to showing hyperlinks in Structure Cloud, it is possible when:
- the Formula column or the Text field(Notes) with Markdown is used;
- the link leads to the same Jira instance. It is not possible to show links to external sources as hyperlinks due to security measures. But you can show links as text, if you need to.

Thanks for the quick response but unfortunately that didn't answer my question.

I am looking to links within Jira only - i.e. to another jira issue (not external).

How can i write formula in formula column to convert the text in another column (text column in same structure)? This was my question.

Ex . i have 'URL' as text in another text column (URL of another Jira Issue). I want to store this Link/URL in clickable format in custom added column in structure. Either with formula culumn to covert that text to link or guide me some other way where i can achieve this? Hope use case is clear here!

Thank you for sharing more details. To turn a link (to the same Jira instance) from text to hyperlink, you can do it with the following formula:

"[link](url)"
the column's format should be Markdown.
