Folder structure Jira Zephyr Scale

Hi,

I am working with Jira Zephyr Scale for testing and am considering changing the folder structure in the "Test cases" tab. Before doing this I would like to be sure that it will not affect test cycles, reports, dashboards etc. Is it a possibility for test cycles, reports, plans, dashboards etc. to be affected when changing the folder structure in Test cases? (All test cases will still exist, but in different folders)

Hi Siri,

It is safe to do what you want.  Scale should adjust the links between your test cases and test cycles, and changing the structure will not affect test cycles.  It could however affect reports or dashboards if you have created reports that use the Folder criteria option.

So to summarise, all safe.
