Automating backups for asset schemas in a Data Center environment typically requires an add-on like Insight or a custom script using the REST API.

Tools like ScriptRunner or third-party apps from the Atlassian Marketplace can help schedule and execute regular backups of schema data.

I would also ensure the backup process is configured to include all dependencies and relationships within the schema.
