Hi Everyone

Is anyone using Hierarchy for Jira. We have installed this app recently in our organization to have a complete view of the release with features also listed in it but the view that come up in this hierarchy app doesn't reflect the completion/progress percentage of the epics properly.

I'm not sure how it's pulling the story and features data under the epic. right it is not correct for our Jira.

There are many other apps in the mktplace, you can try out.

I personally use Issue Hierarchy Reports

Cost wise also it is very reasonable.

Hi @Archana,

I can't speak for this particular app, but if you're open to alternatives, I believe this would be easy to do with the app that my team is working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. JXL also comes with many advanced features, including the support for issue hierarchies (either based on Jira's default hierarchy, or based on configurable hierarchies), as well as sum-ups.

With these, you can easily create a view like for example this one:

There's many other ways of calculating epic progress, too - e.g., based on the stories' time or story point estimates, etc.

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes
