Embed everything from Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms & Figma in Confluence

The Confluence app Aura -  Beautiful Formatting Macros by //SEIBERT/MEDIa has released a new macro. With the new Embed macro it is now possible to easily embed Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms & Figma (+FigJam) into your Confluence pages. We will add more tools like Miro, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Forms very soon.

How it works

Create a new page in Confluence or go into Edit mode on the page where you want to add your file and from the menu bar choose the Insert button (+ ˅ ). In the search box, type "Aura", scroll down to "Aura Embed" and click on it.

Here you have the possibility to insert your file. Choose between Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms or Figma Files.

It is also possible to edit settings about the file displayed in the Confluence page here.

Edit your file on your Confluence page

Once you have published your Confluence page, you can easily edit your inserted file in the Live Preview.

Aura is not the first app offering such a service that I know of. I downloaded it last month but couldn't figure out the settings. Perhaps the developers have rushed into releasing it. I've been working in marketing for 9 years now and find it easier to use invoice templates for google docs than to create them myself. The file is generated from the data automatically, fewer mistakes in documents, less manual work, and more time for sales. Thank you for your input. But Aura is not an invoice app for Confluence. Aura is a content formatting tool, with many different macros for formatting your pages in Confluence. The new embed macro allows you to integrate all kinds of tools such as Google Docs. It does not automatically generate pdfs.
