Hi there!
All of us use ChatGPT in one or another reason.
And the original [OpenAI] tool
a) doesn't have unified billing (GPT4 is a night and day, but it only can be accessed on a personal accounts and want to give all our team the access)
b) uses the chat data for training
c) don't offer shared chats (I personally struggle with copying/pasting code or logs in messenger when we do remote pair programming/debugging)
So we developed the plugin for JIRA to provide unified billing for chatGPT 4 and the other things for our company first (as everyone has an acc in Atlassian and we'd want to read/create tickets from the tool in the next iteration) and than published it live few weeks ago for a general public.
We thought that would be a hit for everyone else as well!
But it seems the need is not so hot among the community as we don't see people rushing to use it.
It's ok, but mind sharing how do you guys use chatGPT in a corporate setting?
Thank you and let's build smth cool together!
Is this your app? https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1230894/copilot-chatgpt-4-for-jira?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
I was actually looking for something that will allow the GPT4 billing for the whole team. Good idea, I'll give it a try. It seems that yours is cheaper than the Plus itself?
On a separate note - I recall OpenAI announced the corporate subscription but haven't release it yet.
As to your questions:
- yes, we use GPT Plus and have to reimburse it for now
- we build AI-enabled legal assistant, so we literally use ChatGPT in all possible scenarios: content generation, development, play with prompts
- I would love the app to have the same formatting box that they use for the code for the generated texts. And the group chat feature sounds very interesting, we'll definitely give it a try!
Thanks Dave!
Yes, that's the app. It's def cheaper than the Plus – we applied a limit (kinda 25 messages for a day as in GPT 4) and provided it by the API token costs.
But we'll see how it fly, pricing might change in future, based on a usage history.
We don't put a lot of focus on it for now.
And give it a try - it's free the first month anyway.
