In the fast-paced world of article writing should we try to use AI just a little bit less?

I subscribe to this group, so it’s a little annoying to see so many articles that have clearly had some AI influence.

Some examples of introduction sentences I’ve seen in my inbox:

  • In today’s fast paced environment
  • In today's fast-paced tech startup landscape
  • In today’s fast-paced and data-driven world
  • In today’s fast-paced, technologically driven world,
  • In the fast-paced business world,
  • In the fast-paced world of project or product management
  • […] in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • […] working on multiple projects is a common reality in today's fast-paced business world

In a fast-paced world, perhaps we should slow down a little before we hit publish?

Thanks, @David at David Simpson Apps

Perhaps posters of the artificially-written content are trying to rapidly add articles to win some type of community badge, or gain vendor visibility.  (Increasing ploy I have observed: posting what appears to be a generated, informational article, outside of the app central area, and with heavy linkage to their vendor's products.)

The same challenge is happening with those answering questions by posting whatever a bot returned, rather than pausing to clarify / understand the original problem...let alone understanding the content the bot churned out, or if is even accurate.

Kind regards,
Bill

There is that and "In the realm of ...". You just know it is AI.

I think AI should be used more to build on the ideas that you have already generated and brainstorm. But writing in itself should be done by the content creators. We are just better storytellers for the time being at least.

AI-generated content has really become an issue. Each time when I search for some infromation now, I need to have such a deep dive into the topic, as the majority of content is genarated by AI almost in the same words, so it's easy to understand how that piece of content was gerenated... "fast-paced" is a very good example @David at David Simpson Apps . Well, AI can be good for ideas, but not for content. Moreover, AI-written articles usually lack on proof base, and statistics.
