(I'm Francis, part of the team that builds the Exalate issue synchronization solution)
Some time ago we got a request on the Exalate community site:
Will it be possible to sync linked confluence pages between issues in the same instance?
The question
- They have a project with issues
- These issues have links to confluence pages
- The issues need to be synchronized towards another project
- How can the confluence links be synchronized
The solution
- Check the snippets available here
It manipulates RemoteIssueLinks and can be useful if you need to the same with Scriptrunner for Jira
- Add the 2 files to your <jira-home>/scripts folder
- Clink.groovy
- ConfluenceLinks.groovy
- In your outgoing sync use
ConfluenceLinks.send()
- In your incoming sync use
ConfluenceLinks.receive()
This is sufficient to get the ConfluenceLinks sent over
Note
- It will not delete links
- It can only work on the same tracker
Do you want to know more or see it in action - just book a demo here
