How to create a Confluence custom template table based on Excel spreadsheet

When teams work in Confluence, it’s usually to collaborate and be sure to always have the last version of any given document. But when there is a need to use spreadsheets on a Confluence page, the story can easily become a little bit more complex. But if you already know Elements Spreadsheet, then you already know the convenience of integrating a Spreadsheet in your page, how easy and quick it is to import an Excel file, and the advantages of having it embedded in your Confluences pages.

Today, we have news for teams searching to improve their experience when using Elements Spreadsheet (but also for teams looking for new options to optimize their time when collaborating on Excel files and then embedding them in Confluence, don’t be jealous!). The news is 🥁🥁🥁 Custom Templates are here 🥁🥁🥁 and even better, you can now save an advanced table template to a Confluence page based on something you’ve built in the past with Excel!

Using a Custom Template with Elements Spreadsheet can be useful because it allows you to create a pre-designed spreadsheet with a specific layout, formatting, formulas, and other information that you use frequently that you can use as a starting point. This can save you time and effort because you don't have to set up the layout and formatting from scratch every time you create a new spreadsheet.

Custom templates can also help to ensure that all of your spreadsheets have a consistent look and feel, which can be especially helpful if you are working with your team. Additionally, they can be useful if you have specific requirements or standards that your spreadsheets need to meet, as you can use the custom template to ensure that your spreadsheets are set up correctly from the start, allowing you to have a consistent and professional-looking format that you can reuse for multiple documents.

Here’s how to do it with the help of Elements Spreadsheet:
