Alright, let's take a step back for a moment because it seems like some of you might be a bit confused. Remember when we mentioned that the Content Viz Base was on its way? Yeah, well. The thing is, we always put our partners and customers first. And so we did this time. We gathered their valuable feedback during our closed Beta program, and Content Viz Base's spectacular burst of innovation led to the release of Cosmos - Intranet for Confluence, a NEW & FREE app on the Atlassian Marketplace.
Now, some may say that intranets are dead, but nah - that's just fake news. Modern and employee-focused intranets are still alive and kicking. As a matter of fact, companies worldwide are getting to appreciate more and more the importance of networking, onboarding, and exchanging information and knowledge in hybrid teams. The days of synchronous communication are long gone, and a dynamic and up-to-date company intranet is your go-to solution for keeping teams informed, connected, and motivated.

Dashboard
It's like your very own spaceship control panel, but for your company's intranet. Or, for those who prefer earthling lingo, a central hub to discover information, track collaborative activities, and gain insight into the company culture. The Confluence admin sets it up, and voila, each employee gets their own sleek intranet homepage packed with all kinds of widgets (news, people lists, countdowns, polls, quick links, you name it).
And don't worry about missing out on any company updates because the Cosmos Dashboard provides a concise and real-time summary of all the latest happenings, from new hires to mission-critical tasks. Plus, it's easy to embed and integrate into any Confluence page thanks to the Cosmos - Embed Dashboard macro.
User profile
No need to play a detective trying to learn more about your colleagues, the User Profile feature has got you covered. Employees can easily update their personal info, including their skills, expertise, and contact links. That way, when a project comes up that requires some specific talent, you know exactly who to call.
Database (Admin settings)
The heart of your Cosmos intranet - Database ensures all the important employee information is in one place. Once Admins sync it up with data from the Confluence instance, it's continually updated with info from User Profiles. Need to customize it even further? Just add a new column to the table.
People Network
No more aimlessly searching for the right person to help you out. With People Network’s advanced filtering options and various criteria sets, finding a colleague with the necessary skills is a breeze. Connect with them, and maybe even find someone to share memes and GIFs with.
Newsroom
Stay in the loop with all the latest company news, blogs, and updates, all in one central hub. Say goodbye to the tedious task of sifting through countless Confluence blog collections. Thanks to the Newsroom's advanced filtering options, the blog you’re looking for is just a click away.
Space Station
Get a quick and comprehensive view of your Confluence spaces with the Space Station feature. You can easily filter through and locate the information you need, and even see who the space admins are to streamline the permission granting process.
Navigation Menu (Admin settings)
Breaking news, everyone! The Navigation Menu feature, which was previously exclusive to the Content Viz app, is now part of Cosmos. With this feature, users can quickly and easily access important pages, spaces, and resources without ever feeling disoriented or lost, as the navigation menu bar is visible in both the Cosmos app and Confluence.
Unlock a galaxy of design customization options and display your corporate identity
We understand the importance of branding, which is why Cosmos has additional design and color customization options. Soon you will be able to showcase your corporate identity and create an intranet that truly represents your company by incorporating your logo and brand colors throughout the app thanks to the MacroSuite and Content Viz integrations.
[More exciting news!] Additional personalization options are currently in development, including the option to display news based on your User profile. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates on this front.
