Startup Elastic Bamboo Instance(s) From A Remote Script

Jeremy Switzer August 6, 2013

Is there a way to trigger starting up (or shutting down) an elastic instance using Bamboo On-Demand from a remote location?

I don't see any resources that deal with instance managment in the official REST API docs, but I was wondering if there was an unofficial/unsupported endpoint that might allow me to accomplish this.

The only way to do it is to pretend your script is a web browser and submit start instance web form.

That doesn't sound like any fun...

Any plans to add access to this in future versions of the API?
