I have Confluence OnDemand subscribtion and "Remote API" options is checked in admin configuration (but the field is disabled, you cannot check it off)
In .NET 4.0 project i've added Web Reference to "https://developer.atlassian.com/rpc/soap-axis/confluenceservice-v2?WSDL" (ad described in this blog post http://sergeytihon.wordpress.com/2013/06/24/confluencejira-communication-from-f-and-c/).
When i'm trying to login via generated C# api to my subscribtion it fails with "The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Temporarily Unavailable.".
The connection url i'm using is: "https://stepshot.atlassian.net/rpc/soap-axis/confluenceservice-v2".
-------
Also i cannot get wsdl information "https://stepshot.atlassian.net/rpc/soap-axis/confluenceservice-v2?wsdl" the "We're down for maintance" message popups.

Thanks for the answer @Borys Korobeinikov! Actually, I believe you meant to type out the following URL: https://stepshot.atlassian.net/wiki (note the removed '>').
Thank again!
I used incorrect url, instead of https://stepshot.atlassian.netneed to use https://stepshot.atlassian.net<strong< a="">>/wiki
