Multiple supported versions in the marketplace

Hi I have tried to release two copies of the same plugin (Comment History https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.redmoon.jira.commenthistory.commenthistory) that supports two version groups of JIRA. I followed what was said on:

https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/141475/how-do-i-specify-two-versions-of-an-add-on-in-manage-add-ons

If you look in the version tab you will see that I have two 1.0.2 versions (1.0.2-JIRA-5.2 and 1.0.2-JIRA6). One for 5.2 - 5.2.11 and 6.0 - 6.1.1.

My problem is that at the top of the marketplace page it says that it supports 6.0 - 6.1.1 but it does not mention the 5.2 version. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Paul,

You're not doing anything wrong, this is a known issue: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/AMKT-6460

On the Marketplace side, it's a tricky experience. We are working on figuring out a UX that will clearly indicate to a customer that simply clicking the "get it now" button for the latest published version may not get them a version compatible with their instance. Stay tuned!

Dave
