How to find mandatory fields for a workflow action/transition

Hi All,

We are working on a JIRA plugin where we receive a workflow name and it's transition name or Transition id.
Using this information we have to find if there are any mandatory fields.

We do not have any issue information in the plugin. We just have workflow name and the transition Name or Id.
Any pointers will be helpful.

I do know how to find the mandatory fields for from a field configuration.
But i have a requirement to find if there are any mandatory field for a transition which i cannot find a single method to work with various validators in place from various plugins.

Great question but it's very difficult because there is many different addons that can make a fields mandatory in a specific transition (you can also have javascripts like behaviors). If you are looking for mandatory issues by field configuration is very easy.
