How can I trigger a pull request on issue transition in JIRA?

The new trigger support for JIRA is fantastic, save one workflow. If the QA team tests on a feature branch, we'd like to automatically create a pull request into the release branch as soon as they finish testing. The current workflow had an "In Review" status which transitions to resolved. On transition, we would like to have Stash automatically create a pull request.

It seems like the workflow support only goes the other direction: actions in Stash trigger workflow actions in JIRA.

You will have to create a script for this that sends a POST call to the Stash API. The JIRA post-functions can be able to handle this. I have used JIRA Transitions to trigger jenkins jobs.

• Trigger a Webhook - If this post-function is executed, JIRA will post the issue content in JSON format to the URL specified.

I am using the second one which gives me more freedom.
