Can't set build/clone directory in bitbucket pipelines?

bkoch31 November 10, 2016

Am I supposed to set the build or clone directory from the environment variables or in my config.yml?

Not having any luck with setting from environment variables. Set both BUILD_DIR and BITBUCKET_CLONE_DIR according to the documentation will override on the creation of the container but still builds in the default path.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Hi Brendan,

The $BITBUCKET_CLONE_DIR is the variable you can use to get the path of where your repository will be cloned to. It can't be used to set the directory.

Can I ask why you need to set the clone directory path?

O that makes sense. I was hoping to clone the project to the same directory we use in our development environment for the execution of front end/back end tests but I suppose I could just run them from the default clone directory as well. I'll just need to setup further environment pipelines for this case. Trying to skip steps wink
