Community release notes for July 10, 2019

Aloha, friends! 🌺

And welcome to another edition of community release notes. Thank you to our community experience team who is, as always, a delight.

In today's release:

Fixed: Fixed a bug that stopped users from being able to watch individual threads 👀

Fixed: The dreaded “yellow sidebar” that some users were seeing should now be gone 💛

Updated: The anchor links on post-timestamps are now enabled again. Thanks to @Steffen Opel _Utoolity_ for reporting this! 🕑

Updated: Our Terms of Use link in the create form now opens in a new tab. This means users who are in the middle of typing a question won’t lose their work if they click on Terms of Use. ✍🏽

Updated: We’re working on the way we monitor community slowness and outages in our quest to improve site performance. This is a behind-the-scenes only update. 📈

New: When users create a question, we now include some tool tips to help them give more details in their questions. It looks like this! ❓

New: Updated sorting on profile pages! You can now sort to see only posts (meaning it will exclude replies and comments) or vice-versa, in addition to using other filters. 🔎

This came out of a request from our Community Leaders and Community AdvisoryBoard to be able to more easily find their posts, and look forward to hearing if this is helpful!

New: The Group Hug badge has been released. Note that this is a permanent badge and not time-limited. Go forth and group. 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧

I hope you enjoy these new features and fixes. The comments are open for questions, feedback, and exclamations of joy. 🎉

Agreed with @Jack Brickey and @Alexey Matveev! Also this:

New: Updated sorting on profile pages! You can now sort to see only posts (meaning it will exclude replies and comments) or vice-versa, in addition to using other filters.

That's definitely going to be useful👍
