We have certain situations where the developer needs time to perform analysis on the issues. We create a sub task for that and the dev starts working on it in the sprint. Based on the analysis, we might take the story/bug in the current sprint if time permits or in the next sprint.
The Rapid board backlog is created using a query which includes sub-tasks but the backlog doesn't seem to show the tasks. So, I'm forced to take the entire story and then change the scope by removing it since it was never meant to be fixed.
Is there a way that I take only a task from the story in the current sprint and take the rest of them in the next one?
