After completing a sprint in work mode go back to scrum board's plan mode; next sprint (which wasempty) now has incorrect issues in it from backlog

Can you give us more information about what you mean by "incorrect issues in it"

In work mode the active sprint is ready to be closed.

The next sprint on the board, as seen in plan mode, is empty with no issues in it.

Closed the active sprint in work mode.

Went back to plan mode to plan the next sprint.

The next sprint is no longer empty; instead it has a bunch of apparently random issues moved into it from the backlog. This is what I mean by "incorrect issues in it".

And it was not another user doing this becasue there were no other users on the system at the time.

Thanks!
