As part of our monthly series highlighting Marketplace vendors and apps, this month we introduce one of our newest vendors. Looker integrates data analytics into your existing version control (Hey Bitbucket!) and teams' workflow.

Established in 2011, Looker is a Bay Area-based startup that focuses on query-based business intelligence. Their technology makes data actionable with git branching and publicly available data that you can combine with your own. 

Looker brings data-driven decision-making to every level of Atlassian products.  With apps for Jira Software, Bitbucket, and Hipchat, Looker is a modern data platform that creates a single source of truth for your data. 

Version Control

Looker is a modern data analytics platform that has adopted the same version control and standardized development processes that make product teams more efficient. They create a single source of truth via their LookML modeling layer that is version controlled with Git, so services like Bitbucket can be used (Looker Version Control with Bitbucket).This keeps your analytics team on track, helping them improve analytic outcomes and encourage collaboration.
