In JIRA, I have 3 main projects - Product Team (business), Backend Team, Frontend Team. I created a plan to connect the projects as the data source.
For large roadmap features, an EPIC is created under the Product team board.
Stories/Tasks related to this EPIC are then created under the various teams' projects and linked to main EPIC. (See example below)
Does this structure limit the plan in terms of scheduling and seeing the progress of the overall EPIC?
No, Epics are expected and intended to go across projects, and the software is built to cater for it.
