Why are sprint dates overwritten when auto scheduler is run?

I am just learning portfolio and don't understand why the auto scheduler is overwriting my sprint dates when auto scheduler is run.  How to I ensure work already assigned to a sprint is preserved when the auto scheduler is run?

Hi, Julia

Thanks for your question.

According to the document https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfolioserver/auto-scheduling-issues-967895245.html , Auto-scheduler will not override the assigned sprint if you config the auto-scheduler only to override the empty value.  So you should make sure that you have configured it correctly.

If in your plan, sprints are still changed by the auto-scheduler, could you provide more details about how to reproduce the question?

Thanks!
