Why are adjusted weekly capacities not considered in capacity distribution?

Hello,

we are working Kanban-based with Roadmaps. If a developer is e.g. on vacation we reduce the weekly capacity accordingly but somehow Jira ignores it.

For example: Weekly capacity of the team is normally 40h (configured in the teams tab), the issue has an estimate of 50h & developer is absent in week 1 (= reduced capacity of 20h).

Expected behaviour would be that capacity is distributed with 20h in week 1 & 30h in week 2 but instead its distributed as if capacity had never been adjusted:RoadmapIssue.PNG

With the current behaviour capacity planning is not possible.

So, is there any way to change this?

Thanks in advance
