Use Active Sprints - Saved Filter

When I go to my team's board in Jira, the "Active sprints" under "Planning" in the left menu never shows my Stories, unless I click the "Clear Filters" button up top.  Note that there are no visible indications of filtering -- not under "Epic", "Type", or "More" | "Quick filters" -- so I don't know what filter or filters are being cleared.  (Note that if I'm in the "Backlog" view, my Stories do appear under the correct iteration.)

I see the below on the "Use Active Sprints" Jira Support page; the status of my Stories match, and I've moved them from "Ready for Iteration" into the current iteration, so the first two conditions have been met; so it has to be that third condition.

However, how do I find out what "the board's saved filter" is?  There's no obvious way to see it from the "Active sprints" view; if I look under "Filters" from the main menu, the only filter I can find (appears to be more of a team/project filter) shows my Stories, but also Stories across multiple iterations, so I feel like that can't be the one.  Web searches haven't been fruitful, showing me how to set up a filter, where to see filters, etc, but not a direct link to what filter is applied where I need to see it.

Basically, I'd like to eliminate the extra step every morning, but more so, I want to make sure I'm not missing something when I set up my Stories!

Use Active sprints in a Scrum board

An issue shows on your active sprints board if it:

  • has a status that maps to one of the board's columns,

  • is in an active sprint (for Scrum boards), and

  • matches the board's saved filter

Turns out I was barking up the wrong tree...  The filter appears to work as intended, however, the URL I was given either contained "?assignee=unassigned", or that somehow got cached along the way?  It's a little weird that the board gave no indication that it was filtering by unassigned, but okay, at least I now have a resolution.
