Updates to Releases in JIRA Software not reflected back on Portfolio

Hi,

I have old/past releases on boards in JIRA that have been completed/released, but still show as incomplete/unreleased in Portfolio.

Any reasons why this would occur?

I know I can just exclude these releases from my plan, but it would be preferable if they automatically fell off the plan when Released...

Thanks!

Hi Matt,

There are a couple things I can think of here, first is that the plan is holding onto cached data from before the version was released, recalculate the plan to see if this clears it out.

Alternatively if you have issues that are still open and have been expressly added to the released fixversion, your issues are holding onto that version.  Switch the field to calculate on these issues to clear the field and move the issue to an unreleased version for continued work.

Regards,
Earl
