Unable to add story points field to plan

Anyone have any ideas why the story points field would be unavailable to add to a plan?

I've seen chatter about discrepancies with plan Story points vs. Jira Story Points, rollup calculations, etc. but I can't even add the field, and it's not available as a custom field to add either not sure why.

Initially I forgot about the concept of "Team" in portfolio, so I made sure the "team" was configured as scrum, but problem persists and I still can't add story points field to the plan.

Ensure the plan has story points as the Estimation type in the Scheduling section of the plan configuration

Yes thanks! Discovered that and it's a shame you can't show both for scrumban teams but at least it's simple enough to toggle back and forth depending on use case.
