Target Start and Target End not updating for epics

I have an epic that has several estimated and unestimated stories.  When I auto schedule, it fills in target dates for everything as expected.  When I put estimates on the unestimated work, it correctly brings in the timeline for the newly estimated stories.  However, the parent epics target and end dates not updated based on the new information.

Hi John,

Something to consider is that if your epic doesn't have an estimate, then the Auto-schedule will respect the start and end dates that were previously set. If child issues end up outside of the epic's start or end dates, then the epic will expand to include these new issues, but it will never shrink.

This is something we're currently working to improve.

Ok thanks.  As it stands right now I have to clear the target dates for all my epics before I use the auto schedule feature.
