Hello,
I am using JIRA Software and Portfolio in Cloud. I have question about sync for which it seems there is no answer in the community (even if the question has already be raised).
1. How my AGILE sprints defined in my Boards could be taken into account in Portfolio? It seems Portfolio has his own sprints with no relation at all with JIRA sprints.
2. A change of assignee in JIRA doesn't change the assignee (Member) in Portfolio. Is it possible? Because the opposite sync is working (updating a Member in Portfolio will update the assignee).
Thank you for your help
Romain
Hello,
For the Sprints Jira should detect and pull in all the pre existing sprints on the board or board's tied to the plan, then schedule issues into these sprints if possible and if it cannot it generates the logical sprints as place holder for future sprints. Additional info can be seen in "Assigning issues to sprints"
For the assignees to map over details on the criteria needed for this are covered in Mapping issue assignees to team members and one point to consider is:
Before calculating your plan, note that for the assignee to display, the issue must have either an estimate, or a sprint manually associated to it.
Make sure the issue meets the criteria noted and that is has either an estimate or Sprint association to map the assignee over.
Regards,
Earl
