Scheduling view displays items on the timeline first, although they are ranked low in the backlog

Dear all,

in one of the plans in portfolio we created, there is displayed an item in the timeline to be starting "today" (ending "in time") - although it is ranked very low in the backlog, has no dependencies, according later releases assigned, etc. We checked every allocated item, none of those items is completed, started or has a start time specified.

We would like to use the automated scheduling and not set an specific start date or dependency to another item just to "make the schedule correct"

I checked several documentations, however did not find anything solving this issue. Could you please help? Thanks!
