How do I install Portfolio for Jira 3.x

I am evaluating Portfolio for Jira and can only use "live plans". I want to try to use the "improved interface". 

We're using Jira Software for cloud. 

I can't find any version numbers for Portfolio nor can I find a way to ensure that v3.x is installed.

Any ideas?

You don't. 

All software versions on the Cloud platform are managed by Atlassian.  There is not yet a Cloud equivalent for Portfolio 3 for Jira Server ready.  When there is, Atlassian will update you to it when they're ready to do it.

It’d be nice if the “getting started” doco made that a bit clearer or didn’t push to the “improved interface””. Feel a bit like a second class citizen using the cloud version 😀
