Our team has been utilizing Jira for project management, and while it excels in many areas, we have encountered some limitations. Specifically, we have noticed challenges in managing project dependencies and holidays, especially compared to the functionality available in tools like Microsoft Project.
In Microsoft Project, we can easily account for holidays and calculate dates according to dependencies, ensuring more accurate project timelines. However, Jira does not seem to offer these capabilities out-of-the-box. We are looking for solutions or best practices from the community on how to manage these aspects within Jira effectively.
