Portfolio is not showing the Stories in timeline which are closed in the sprint

I am using portfolio 2.2.3 and jira 7.2.8, when I created Portfolio plan stories were showing correctly under sprint reports view and in timeline. Once few of the stories completed in mid way of sprint , completed items disappeared from timeline of the plan and also from the sprint report. Now I dont have a way to see the total scope of the Sprint, my sprint is still in progress.
