JIRA Portfolio BUG : Exception for team's Capacity

Edited

Hello Team,

1- go to Team's Capacity in your Portfolio Plan

2- Use Exceptions in the Team's capacity section in order to simulate changes of capacity during some periods

Result after Calculate => Exceptions are not taken into consideration !!

I"m actually having the same issue. I was running the schedule report and I was not seeing any purple on my sprint when people is out.

Double check people Exceptions thinking maybe I did nt entered the hours for the exceptions, but they are there.

I hope is just a graphic issue and not an algorithm, as is very critical for me to understand if we are over allocating work.

Hello @Areli Ibarra

If you notice even the target dates are not displayed....

After several hours of analysis, the problem comes from the activation of the new experience of planning....(the value in the data base shows the new experience while the dispay is the old one experience)

1- You need to ACTIVATE the new experience.

2- WAIT until you SEE YOUR FULL PLAN DISPLAYED.... NO NEED TO HIT CALCULATE

3- DISABLE the new experience...wait untill your plan is displayed fully.

4- Then hit CALCULATE

Keep me informed if this works for you :)
