How to revert to the improved planning interface rather than the live plan?

I started an evaluation using the live plan, but would like to evaluate the improved planning interface.  When I delete a test plan and try to create a new one, Portfolio automatically defaults to the live plan.  Is there a way to get back to the very beginning of Portfolio, when I can choose between the improved planning vs live plan?

When viewing the plan look under the "Configure Plan" section. This should give you the option to switch between the interfaces.
