How to create a cross-project release in Advanced Roadmaps in Cloud? Not in new planning interface

Is there any way to use Advanced Roadmaps in Cloud to create cross project releases?

I am looking at the documentation for Advanced Roadmaps for Cloud and I see two different UIs described for managing and creating releases.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/advancedroadmapscloud/creating-and-configuring-cross-project-releases-998651713.html

and

https://confluence.atlassian.com/advancedroadmapscloud/creating-releases-998651295.html

The "redesigned planning interface" appears to not easily support creating a multi-project release.  It appears to require creating the release of the same name in each project involved in the plan and then mapping the cross-project to all the manually created individual project releases.

This seems like a major regression in functionality in the "redesigned planning interface".   Is there any workaround for this?

Thanks for raising this Gabriel - I too would be interested in understanding this please

We can't seem to "create" cross project releases and have it propagate to all the projects anymore.

Previous version - create Cross Project Release - it gets created in all the projects in the plan.

Current version - create Cross Project Release seems to be only grouping existing releases in the projects in the plan.

We have global release train and this has made it very difficult to manage.
