How do I get "start and end date" of an Epic to self populate based on its story dates?

Hi just started a trial of Advanced Roadmaps, I'm trying to use an Epic as an overall project, inside the story's will be the main 'packs' of information, each pack is built up of the sub tasks.

I want the stories to dictate how long the overall project takes. and remain dynamic, so if I change an end date of one of the stories, the overall end date of the Epic changes. is this possible or am I using this for the wrong reasons?

Ah I've found it sorry! - it's in view settings "Show a roll-up of dates in the fields and timeline sections."
