How can i add a hierarchy level in between my epics and issues?

Deleted user May 03, 2018

Hi currently I have my projects set up as issues that lead to epics. I would like to add features in between issues and epics.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfoliocloud/how-to-create-a-new-hierarchy-level-in-portfolio-for-jira-941618926.html

states that adding something below the epic level will mess up your board. has anyone successfully added in a feature in between the issue and epic?

The link which you refer to is for Portfolio for Jira , an additional add-on .

In case of Jira Software , you can create custom Issue Types which would satisfy your usecase.

However Epic denote high level features , and use the default settings of Jira to make it easy to get started.
