How can I postpone the start date of my plan in Portfolio?

So, I'm planning ahead for the next quarter. Basically, the plan in portfolio needs to start next week, July 2nd.
problem is that we've been customizing Portfolio since one month now, so the start date was one month ago. Until the end of June, we are not using Portfolio to plan, but simply jira. 
How can the future work to get done at a later defined date?

You can use "Earliest Start Date" for this. It's a field that, unfortunately, can only be configured in Portfolio for Jira itself.

Yep. That's what I did. For some reason it didn't recalculate properly at first, but then the more I was committing changes, at some point it just got updated with the correct start date. It's a little bit of a struggle to have to put the earliest date for all single epics. Just a simple plan start date would be better, but it worked. Thanks!
